LIBRARY POLICIES
Material Check Out Policy
Books - 2 weeks, 50 items
CDs, Playaways, MP3 CD - 2 weeks, 7 items
DVDs - 1 week, 7 items
Reservations for Items
Place any item(s) on hold online or by phone. We will notify you by phone or e-mail when the item(s) become available. There are no limits to the number of items you can place on hold.
Renewals
All library materials may be renewed, with the exception of items on hold or overdue. Renewals may be done in person, online, or by phone: 757-764-2906.
Renewals of Interlibrary loan (ILL) materials must be coordinated through the ILL Department.
Children
For the safety of your children, no child under the age of 10 should be unsupervised in the library.
Rules for proper Library behavior are posted on the Children's Room door.
Cell Phones
Please refrain from the use of cell phones within the library. Please silence the ringers; use the lobby for conversations.
Conference Room
Reservations are taken one month in advance, 1st come, 1st served.
